I have just stocktaked this page, and all you can see is available. There's not much else to photo and upload and I'm only getting stuff like this fairly slowly, as it makes my skin itch...
John had to retire from this little corner of the HelenHowes-SewingMachines Empire, due to ill-health. And then I lost him...
As he left me his lovely soldering iron and a whole lot of crimps, I am dealing well with wiring and the like, so this will now continue...

Electric machines can be dangerous, so don't try to repair/rewire them unless you are competent, or preferably qualified to do it.
Anything you do to an electric machine is done at your own risk, if you are not sure of what you are doing take it to a professional, to either do the work or at least check it.
Some old electric machines cannot be made safe to modern standards, usually the motor and plug need to be replaced.
New modern motors can be purchased from reputable suppliers online, and apart from the colour (they tend to be white) are OK for most machines.
