Singer Memorabilia and Publications

Isaac Merritt Singer was a master of publicity. His hold on the whole Idea of the Sewing Machine is much like that of Hoover on the vacuum cleaner - I am amazed by the number of machines I see described as "a Jones Singer" or even "a Bernina Singer" on everybody's favourite online auction site. All through the life of the company, items were produced to give away, to reward sales people, and to sell directly to the public. I have a few here.
